Electrical Design Engineer – Immediate Opening

Location: Atlanta, GA

We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading electrical contractor with 80 years of excellence in commercial and industrial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects for clients like Coca-Cola, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft.

Responsibilities
  • Model electrical systems in 3D using Revit
  • Perform short circuit and coordination studies in SKM Power Tools
  • Design electrical systems based on the National Electrical Code
  • Write basic macros in Excel and JavaScript to streamline workflows
  • Prepare client-facing reports and print large-scale drawings for field teams
  • Ensure high-quality, detail-oriented design output

 Requirements
  • BSEE or BSEET degree
  • 3+ years of electrical design experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities
  • Proficiency in Revit (ability to build Revit families is a big plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SKM Power Tools
  • Familiarity with power studies (training available)
