Exciting career opportunity: Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA 30303 

A prominent engineering firm in Atlanta is looking for a skilled Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join their team. This role focuses on civil site design and public infrastructure projects across the Atlanta metro area. Ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in land development, drainage, and utilities, this position offers the chance to work on impactful projects for local municipalities and public works.

Position Highlights
  • Community Impact: Contribute to key projects for the City of Atlanta and South Fulton, spanning roadway improvements, public buildings, airports, and water/wastewater systems
  • Project Variety: Hands-on work in civil site design, land development, drainage, and utilities infrastructure Responsibilities include both project management and engineering/design work
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a small, dynamic team where individual contributions are highly valued and directly impact project outcomes

Role Responsibilities
  • Project Focus: Civil site design using Civil 3D, focusing on land development, drainage, and infrastructure
  • Minimal Travel: Occasional site visits within the Atlanta area
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with flexible start times and a hybrid option (2-3 days in the office)

Qualifications
  • Experience: ~ 5-10 years in civil engineering and project management
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline)
  • Licensing: PE preferred but not required
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: ~ +/- $38-$48/hour | ~ +/- $80,000--$100,000k/yr [Negotiable, DOE]
  • Additional Details: Full-time role with a potential contract-to-permanent transition, business-casual environment, and hybrid work flexibility
