Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Structural Engineer for our partnering company in Alpharetta, Georgia. Candidates in this role will offer their expertise in engineering and the design of industrial bulk material handling projects. 

Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Expected Pay Range: $43.00-$57.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.  

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering
  • 10 Plus years Engineering experience with Industrial plate weldments, design with hollow structural tubes/pipes and/or moving structures like offshore rigs, heavy construction cranes, stacker/reclaimers or other similar heavy industrial equipment.
  • Structural Analysis software proficiency
  • AutoCAD
 In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties:
- Perform 3D modeling and work with structural analysis software. 
- Mixture of structural and mechanical design with an emphasis on structural steel.
- Prior experience performing this work for heavy industrial projects is mandatory. Experience should be with plate weldments, design with hollow structural tubes/pipes and/or moving structures, ie; offshore rigs, heavy construction cranes, stacker/reclaimers.
