We have an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer in the Richmond, VA area.

Responsibilities – Senior Electrical Designer
Construction Support-
Term: 8 - 12 month contract to potential direct hire (work load based)
Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job description:
Responsibilities – Senior Electrical Designer
Construction Support-
- Provide construction support services during construction projects and/or mill/equipment shutdowns.
- Prepare Construction Bid Packages
- Provide field engineering support during installation by others.
- Help contractors with lockout, tag out, and permitting.
- Coordinate activities with Maintenance, Production, and contractors.
- Review installation for compliance with design documents
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Assist in communication with Clients, Vendors, and Contractors.
- Assist Projects Managers and other team members with the creation, gathering and dissemination of project information including: quotes, drawings, scopes of work, and schedules
- 10+ years of industrial design in specialty chemicals and Pharma facilities
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Electrical and Control Design experience in industrial process facilities
- Extensive design and field experience in hazardous area installations
- Must have outstanding communication skills both oral and written
- AutoCAD Proficiency
- Some travel may be required
- MSHA Training a plus
