Job Description


Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer that has a strong background in designing and implementing power systems.
Required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 plus years of related Engineering experience for Semiconductors, Advanced Technology Facilities, or Industrial Facilities.
  • PE

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Instrumentation design
  • Experience with SKM & EasyPower

Pay Rate: $40-$60 per hour DOE
Term: 6 Months Temp to Direct Hire

Job order details:
  • They will be responsible for designing new and upgrading existing power systems at semiconductor plants
  • Not only will they do the engineering work for design, but they will collaborate closely with general contractors hired and the end client to ensure the Engineering power systems are implemented correctly.
  • Ability to be in office as well as at the sites looking at the conditions and determining what tasks needs to be completed so that the power engineering work is done correctly.
  • The primary function of the role will require experience designing building power systems, including utility, emergency, and UPS.
  •  Design of low voltage systems including telecommunications, life safety, and security will be managed as well.
  • A thorough understanding of basic NEC requirements, including electrical clearances, circuit sizing, de-rating, motor circuit design, transformer feeder design, and separation of class 1/2/3 wiring.
  • Any experience with SKM and EasyPower is a plus.
