Job Description

Selectek has partnered with a growing aviation client in the Indianapolis Metro area that is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to manage a department of electrical engineers to design and redesign the interior electrical component of commercial airlines.  

Required Experience:
 BS Electrical, Aerospace) Engineering
•    10 plus years performing design, analysis, substantiation, certification, drawing
       interpretation and project management
•    Experience in Leadership
•    Design and analyze electrical systems and components in support of aircraft
      interior modifications and avionics upgrades (FAA, STC Projects)
•    Prepare electrical engineering drawings and reports including electrical wire
      installation, harness fabrication and wire routing
•    Develop work instructions and airworthiness procedures
•    Travel 10 – 15 % Domestic and Internationally
•    Airbus and Boeing experience is a Plus
•    Knowledge of the following EWIS, WDM, WRA, ELA, EWIS 
•    Knowledge and experience with FAA Supplement Type Certificate (STC)
      process
•    AutoCAD 

Salary:  $120-$130K
Location:  Indianapolis, IN
Duration:  Permanent
