Selectek has partnered with a MEP Firm in the Dallas area looking for an Electrical Engineer. Â
•   BS Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience in MEP
•   Professional Engineer or EITÂ
•   Perform engineering calculations and apply engineering principlesÂ
•   AutoCAD and Revit drawingsÂ
•   Write, edit, and produce the accompanying specifications for each client project with no supervisionÂ
•   Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums, and other construction documents as assigned for electrical-related items with no supervisionÂ
•   Conduct field work and complete field reports on electrical-related items to verify design with no supervisionÂ
•   Supervise and mentor interns, designers and EITs in the development of electrical systems for client projectsÂ
•   Seal final contract documents as assignedÂ
•   Expert knowledge of all required building codesÂ
•   Expert knowledge of client design standardsÂ
•   Proficient in lighting and lighting controlsÂ
•   Proficient in fire alarm systemsÂ
•   Proficient in power and power distribution systems, including emergency powerÂ
•   Proficient in technology systemsÂ
•   Ability to design and manage multiple projects from start to finish with no supervisionÂ
Job order details: They are looking for a Electrical Engineer that has an EIT or PE.  They work on colleges, University, and K-12. Â

Salary range: $117,000 – $170,000
4 -5 years – $117,000 - $130,000
7-10 years - $131,000 - $160,000
10+ - $161,000 - $170,000
Company Benefits: They get a week off at Christmas; 3 days at Thanksgiving and all the National Holidays. Â They pay 100% of employee benefits and have a gym in the building.
