Job Description

Selectek has an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit proficiency and experience supporting project engineers with the design and documentation of power and lighting systems for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.
This role is well-suited for a motivated engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with cutting-edge design tools, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
  • Model electrical systems and perform short circuit and coordination studies using SKM Power Tools.
  • Create and manage 3D electrical models in Revit, planning and coordinating layouts in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Write basic macros in Excel and JavaScript to automate repetitive design and documentation tasks.
  • Prepare technical reports and design documentation for client distribution.
  • Print and assemble large-scale drawings to support project managers and field teams.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, quality, and accuracy in all deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET).
  • Proficiency in Revit for electrical system design and documentation.
  • 3+ years of electrical design experience supporting commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
Pay: $31.25 - $36.00
Term: 6-month temp to perm
