Our client has an immediate need for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team,
The Design Engineer will complete the design of electrical power and lighting systems and serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and other designers, on a variety of commercial, hospitality, and educational building projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Salary Range: $70k/yr. - $110k/yr. - Depending on experience
Term of assignment: Direct Hire
Hours: M-F 8-5 with flextime available

The Design Engineer will complete the design of electrical power and lighting systems and serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and other designers, on a variety of commercial, hospitality, and educational building projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing design documentation and schedules
- Providing design of electrical systems, including lighting, power, and communications systems
- Performing calculations, sizing, and analysis of electrical systems for buildings
- Investigating code requirements
- Ensuring the preparation and timely delivery of accurate, complete, and value-added documents
- Assisting with construction administration tasks by processing drawings, RFIs, and completing site visits during the construction phase
- Serving as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and the design team
- Bachelor's degree
- Engineer-in-training (EIT) or licensed professional engineer (P.E.)
- Ability to work in a team environment and set and manage priorities
- Excellent people skills and strong oral and written communications skills
