Job Description

Selectek is looking for an experienced professional Electrical Design Engineer to lead design efforts for power, lighting, and communications systems for technical design projects.  Candidates will be asked to act on the Electrical Lead  on projects.

This person will be expected to have experience with producing construction drawings for power distribution systems, UPS and emergency power generation, data and telecommunication systems, and lighting.

Candidates must have the ability to function as a project electrical lead, interfacing with other engineers, designers, construction professionals, and clients to supervise and coordinate the development of design deliverables. They must effectively assume a lead role at project meetings and communicate project and technical information internally and externally. Ability to work closely with clients and other engineering disciplines is essential. 

Required
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • PE in South Carolina highly preferred, but will consider candidates who are on the path to obtaining)
  • 5+ years of experience with industrial power and lighting design
  • Familiarity with Revit/AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with SKM Software

Sponsorship: No
Pay Range: $36/hour - $53/hour ($72,000 - $110,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 4 months contract to direct
Pay When Direct: Salary with straight time for OT
Location of job: Greenville SC 29607
Hours & Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-5 flex start time
Work From home/Remote: No
Overtime: Limited
Travel: Yes, occasional travel to the owners sites will be required.
Work Attire: Business Casual
