Job Description

Selectek is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to complete the design of electrical power and lighting systems and serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and other designers, on a variety of commercial, hospitality, and educational building projects.


This is a direct-hire position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparing design documentation and schedules
  • Providing design of electrical systems, including lighting, power, and communications systems
  • Performing calculations, sizing, and analysis of electrical systems for buildings
  • Investigating code requirements
  • Ensuring the preparation and timely delivery of accurate, complete, and value-added documents
  • Assisting with construction administration tasks by processing drawings, RFIs, and completing site visits during the construction phase
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and the design team

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Engineer-in-training (EIT) or licensed professional engineer (P.E.)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and set and manage priorities
  • Excellent people skills and strong oral and written communications skills
Location: Denver, CO; Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; or Des Moines, IA
Pay range: $70,000 - $110,000 depending on education, experience, and license status
