Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing firm specializing in power and lighting design for commercial construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, retail, multifamily homes, hotels, education, and more. The firm provides long-term career growth, leadership opportunities, and a profit-sharing program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design power distribution, lighting, receptacle, and fire alarm systems for commercial projects.
  • Develop detailed electrical drawings using Revit to meet client and code requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in electrical design (4 years may be considered).
  • Proficiency in Revit – this is a must.
  • Preferred: Experience in multifamily housing or commercial projects.
Details:
  • Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 2-3 days WFH after training).
  • Salary: $60K - $90K (DOE).
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (flexible start).
  • Travel: Occasional (10-15%).
  • Work Environment: Business casual, collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
  • Sponsorship: Not available – must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
