Job Post: Drainage Engineer (Civil/Environmental Engineering Firm)

We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems, cross-drain design, stormwater management facility design, and floodplain compensation analysis. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and conveyance systems.
  • Design cross drains and stormwater management facilities.
  • Provide floodplain compensation analysis.
  • Collaborate on project designs, permitting, and report preparation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of experience in land development design, FDOT drainage design, and/or permitting.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Proficiency in Hydrology and Hydraulic Modeling and civil engineering practices for site or roadway design.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD & Civil 3D or OpenRoads and similar FDOT design software.
  • Experience preparing engineering reports.
  • Experience with StormWise (formerly ICPR4) modeling software.
