Drafter - Full-Time Birmingham, AL

Do you have a passion for creating technical drawings and a knack for translating ideas into reality?

Selectek has a full-time opportunity for a talented Drafter to join a manufacturing team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you'll leverage skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and detail fabricated parts. You'll work closely with engineers and designers to bring their visions to life, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Associate of Drafting with at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Syteline, and PDM Professional (file vault)
  • Proven ability to design and detail fabricated parts.

A plus if you have:
  • Experience working with a library of pre-existing designs.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to make revisions efficiently.
  • Experience documenting drawing changes following established ISO 9001 compliant procedures.
  • The ability to create drawing packages from various sources, including hand sketches and marked photos.
