Job Description
Our client, in Forest Park, GA, is a leader in the Utility industry and they are looking for a Distribution Engineer. This role will call for strong technical engineering skills and an understanding of power systems.
Desired Knowledge & Skills:

Term: 3 Year contract
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour (flexible depending on experience)

Desired Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of distribution and other engineering principles for a power utility company
- The candidate should possess knowledge of general engineering and construction principles.
- Knowledge of electrical system operations, distribution systems, underground and overhead construction practices.
- Prior experience in writing and executing switching orders.
- Excellent project management skills that lead to desired results & the ability to prioritize and organize work to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with customers (governing authority representatives), engineers, corporate partners, and line crew personnel.
Required:
- Prior Distribution Engineering experience
- MS Office proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred
- Project Manager Skills highly preferred.
Term: 3 Year contract
