Job Description

We are seeking a Machine Designer with sheet metal expertise to design custom bakery equipment from concept to production. This role requires SolidWorks proficiency, strong BOM management, and experience in machine or conveyor design.

Position Highlights:
  • Location: On-site in York, PA
  • Pay: $60K-$100K (higher for strong candidates)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Term: Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design bakery equipment (conveyors, proofers, loaders/unloaders, etc.).
  • Utilize SolidWorks Sheetmetal Module for concept-to-fabrication designs.
  • Develop and maintain BOMs and detailed mechanical drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to optimize designs.
  • Participate in facility tours and SolidWorks CAD tests during the interview process.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of machine design experience (senior-level designers encouraged to apply).
  • SolidWorks expertise, especially with Sheetmetal Module.
  • Background in custom fabrication and manufacturing.
  • Conveyor design experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • No degree required—experience and skillset matter most!
