We have an immediate need for a Customer Service Manager in the
Tampa-Clearwater, FL area. We are looking for someone that has experience in the manufacturing industry and has supervised other customer service reps.
This is starting as a 6 month, contract-to-direct position but there is possibility of going permanent sooner than that.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5 (OR 7:30-4:30) can be flexible
Pay rate: $29-36/hr

Job description:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining production Request for Quotes (RFQ’s) by data collection through the actual production process.
- Establishing best suited P.O. type with customer
- Negotiate renewable and new contracts with customers based on customer knowledge, cost, and forecast.
- Coordinate and confirm Customer orders in a timely manner
- Coordinate customer urgent requests by expediting premium orders by working with all impacted departments.
- Oversee the initial production P.O. transitioning from Program Management/Engineering to Production for visibility.
- Educate Customers with our ordering policies to ensure customer requirements are met and to prevent any misunderstanding or confusion.
- Oversee and ensure that the Customer’s production P.O.’s are entered and executed correctly
- Oversee/maintain the Customer’s shipping preferred method in the system.
- Interface with the Customer and Accounting for outstanding invoices
- Evaluate and dissect Job Costing and relay findings back to the Job Cost Team
- Support and maintain the ISO standards.
- Ensure a representative is available for customer communication at all times during normal business hours.
- Generate Production Sales Order and Work Orders
- Back log reporting
- Production quoting
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, performance and evaluation of all customer service and logistics employees.
- Responsible for the supervisory activities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include meeting company goals and metrics, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees.
- US Citizen OR Permanent Resident
- Experience working in manufacturing or similar environment
- High School Graduate or equivalent GED required
- Understanding of gross margins
- Prior experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Able to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of company computer programs with basic Excel and Word
- Customer focus oriented
- Demonstrate an approachable attitude with a positive team working mindset
- Be the voice of the company to customers
- Background in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
- Experience as a Team Leader, CSM, or Account Manager in a manufacturing environment.
