Customer Quoting Technician (Excel) career opportunity available!

Location: Woodstock, GA 30188
Pay: ~ +/- $19/hr (depending on experience)
Shift: Mon-Thurs 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Fri 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Exciting Opportunity in Estimating!
Join a fast-paced team as a Quoting Technician where you'll prepare detailed quotations based on customer blueprints and samples. This role requires strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and lookup tables), excellent communication, and customer service abilities. You'll work with both customers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate quotes, while playing a critical part in the production process.

What You'll Do:

Prepare detailed quotes, identifying labor steps and materials required
Communicate directly with customers to gather specifications for accurate quoting
Collaborate with vendors to obtain raw material quotes
Coordinate with production teams to ensure all tooling and materials are ready before production begins
Create and update Bills of Material (BOM) and labor times for production flow
Inspect and approve sample parts from production for quality assurance
Prepare Detailed Assembly Instructions for production use

What We're Looking For:

Required:
- Strong Excel skills (experience with pivot tables and lookup tables)
- Excellent customer service skills for client interactions
- Strong communication abilities
Preferred:
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (not for drawing, but for reading and interpreting)
- Mechanical aptitude or experience in construction estimating or technical fields
