Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to perform troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on overhead crane and hoist systems. This position requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Technicians will work independently and directly with customers to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA/ANSI standards.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance, particularly in material handling or crane systems. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes and hoists

  • Conduct OSHA/ANSI-equivalent safety inspections

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks

  • Assemble and repair complex mechanical systems

  • Interface with customers to assess repair needs and provide solutions

  • Recommend and document system improvements or upgrades

  • Complete service forms, inspection reports, and documentation

  • Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused approach

  • Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work at heights and under tight deadlines

  • Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and electrical circuits

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Willingness to travel locally when needed

  • Safety-conscious and quality-driven
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Welding and fabrication experience

  • Familiarity with OSHA/ANSI inspection protocols

  • Previous experience servicing overhead cranes or similar material handling systems

Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite
Pay Range: $25–$40/hr DOE
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (no sponsorship available)
