Job Title: Controls Engineer II Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing control systems: Creating the details of how equipment and processes will be controlled.
  • Configuring instruments: Setting up and adjusting tools and machines for control systems.
  • Preparing for implementation: Getting everything ready before the system goes live.
  • Implementing the system: Putting the control systems into action.
  • Testing: Ensuring everything works properly.
  • Documentation: Writing down instructions and technical details.
  • Training: Teaching others how to use the control systems.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 4 years working with industrial control systems, ideally in industries like construction, engineering, or architecture.
  • Education: A degree in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field. Alternatively, 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial control systems could replace a degree.
  • PLC Programming: 4 years of experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) programming, which is used to control machines and processes.
  • Specific Tools: Experience with ABB 800xa system and Allen Bradley equipment.
  • Programming Skills: Ability to work with different PLC programming languages (ladder logic, function block, structured text).
  • Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with Ethernet/IP (a type of network for industrial devices).
  • HMI Knowledge: Understanding of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), which let operators control and monitor machines.
Preferred:
  • More Experience: 6 years of experience in industrial control systems, particularly in engineering or construction.
  • AutoCAD Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD software, which is used for creating technical drawings and designs.
