Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a company located near Lagrange, Georgia to fill a Controls Engineer role. This client is seeking an experienced candidate to work on automated machinery for a variety of industries.

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000 per hour plus bonuses, depending on experience
Location: Lagrange, Georgia

Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working in automation and controls design
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- PLC programming and configuration using ladder logic and sequence of operation
- Proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs
- Knowledge of Ethernet or Modbus connection knowledge
- Significant AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical  experience

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:
- Develop electrical design concepts, panels and assembly drawings
- Create electrical bill of materials
- Prepare forms required per ISO
- Design and implement PLC and HMI programs
- Oversee variable speed drive maintenance, changes, and troubleshooting including logic changes and hardware updates
- Provide support to customers and clients after machine ship-out

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a-5:00p or 7:00a-4:00p. Candidates are able to work from home two or three days per week, depending on experience, after an orientation period.
