Job Description
Selectek is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, modify, update, and troubleshoot control systems for automatic industrial equipment. The engineer will be responsible for some or all of the following: selection of components, the design of circuits and cabinet layouts, the generation of bills of materials, writing the PLC program, configuring the servo systems, and troubleshooting the final system, either for a new design, or by modifying an existing design to use a different brand of PLC or to meet a different safety standard.

Responsibilities:
- Proficient programming Allen Bradley Control Logix, Mitsubishi Q, Siemens S7
- Panel layout using AutoCAD
- Bill of Materials
- Configuring Servos
- Design circuit and circuit layouts
- Electrical Standards, NFPA 70 and NFPA 79
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or 10 years of experience
- 5 years of experience in design of automated equipment or tooling design but open to Recent Graduate
- Travel 10% or less
