Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Controls Engineer.
Summary:
- The Electrical Controls Engineer will design, modify, update, and troubleshoot control systems for automated industrial equipment.
- The Engineer will be responsible for some or all of the following: selection of components, the design of circuits and cabinet layouts, the generation of bills of materials, writing the PLC program, configuring the servo systems, and troubleshooting the final system, either for a new design, or by modifying an existing design to use a different brand of PLC or to meet a different safety standard.
Requirements:
- Degreed Electrical Engineer or Automation/Controls design and programming experience
Preferred:
- Automated equipment or tooling design experience
Pay Rate:
- $29 – 36/hr, dependent on experience
