Controls Engineer II

Job Description

We are looking for a Controls Engineer II to start working with a client of ours in Nashville, TN as soon as possible. This candidate will be responsible for the design of control system details, instrumentation configuration, preparation for implementation, implementation, testing, documentation, and training.

Required by Client
  • 4 years of experience in Industrial Controls within the architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry, or a related field
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or a degree from a Technical College, or equivalent experience in Industrial Controls
  • 4 years of experience in PLC programming
  • Experience with ABB 800xa systems
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley equipment and systems
  • Expertise in PLC programming, including ladder logic, function block, and structured text
  • Familiarity with networking technologies such as Ethernet/IP
  • Experience and knowledge of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client
  • 6 years of experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry or similar field
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD – Autodesk software

Pay Rate: $85k - $95k
Term: Direct Hire
Location: Nashville, TN 37228
