Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Greenville, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work on custom automation projects from concept to completion, with responsibilities in PLC programming, electrical design, HMI/SCADA development, and customer support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PLC programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Pro-Logic, Compact Logic, Productivity)

  • Design and program HMI displays and integrate with SCADA systems

  • Create electrical designs using AutoCAD and generate BOMs

  • Provide customer troubleshooting and technical support

  • Lead continuous improvement, cost reduction, and product innovation initiatives

  • Travel up to 50% (primarily regional, occasional longer trips)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of controls/automation engineering in manufacturing

  • Strong PLC programming experience across multiple platforms

  • Hands-on HMI/SCADA programming and FactoryTalk software use

  • Electrical design experience, AutoCAD proficiency required

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), trade school background considered

Details:

  • Hours: 8–5 (flexible), business casual environment

  • Overtime available with OT pay after 50 hours/week
