Job Description


We are currently hiring for a Control Panel Drafter/Designer in the Sussex, WI area. This is a full-time position with a well-established engineering firm that has strong industry experience & knowledge.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Design control and automation system panels and other associated mechanical designs in AutoCAD Electrical with input from the engineering team.
  • Develop and maintain complete documentation packages for each project we execute. Documentation includes bills of material, system layout, detailed drawings, termination drawings, etc.
  • Maintain revisions library of the projects assigned – tracking Proposal / Red-Line / Construction and As Built phases.
  • Verify final drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and verify that calculations, measurements, and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers and current standards.

Required:
  • 1+ years’ experience working with AutoCAD Electrical
  • The ability to work closely with fellow employees and manufacturing personnel to ensure a smooth workflow is necessary
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, and other documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on overall experience

Schedule: M-F 8:00a-5:00p
