Job Description


We are currently hiring for a Control Panel Design Engineer in the Sussex, WI area. This is a full-time position with a well-established engineering firm that has strong industry experience & knowledge.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Design control and automation system panels and other associated mechanical designs in AutoCAD Electrical with input from the engineering team.
  • Develops bill of materials, schematic diagrams, cable connection drawings, and assembly instructions for electrical control panels.
  • Understands relevant international electrical and safety agency codes (UL, CSA, NEC, IEC, CE, ISO) and can develop drawing packages that are compliant with these codes.
  • Revises drawings and designs based on engineering change orders and internal/external customer requests.
  • Able to perform calculations to translate design requirements into scalable, specific configurations for drawing implementation.
  • Works with electrical engineers to incorporate electrical design concepts.
  • Reports project progress and status to the Engineering Manager

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with AutoCAD Electrical
  • Working knowledge of NEC code
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, & other documentation
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Pay: $36.06-$52.88 per hour based on overall experience

Schedule: M-F 8:00a-5:00p
