Job Description
Our client in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a Construction Project Engineer to work on a variety of projects pertaining to industrial clients ranging from the designs of plant modifications to new facilities.
Required:
- Previous construction coordination experience working with trades
- Knowledge of general construction with the ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Good communication skills including preparation of progress reports
- Located in Lafayette, Indiana area to support daily site visits
Responsibilities:
- Clarify technical specifications applicable to the work, assistance in resolving specification exceptions per site procedure.
- Assistance in resolving scope completeness and clarification issues.
- Assistance in driving closing notes completion for work completion.
- Periodic contractor safety audits and procedure compliance verification
- Quality checks of work completed on owner side
- Assistance in chasing/technical guidance for open issues during work execution.
Pay: $53.00 - $71.00 (Depending on Experience)
Term: 6 Month Contract ++
