Summary

We are seeking a Construction Manager to function primarily as a Foreman/Superintendent, responsible for managing internal and subcontractor crews for datacenter construction and upgrade projects. Project scopes range from minor BMS/EPMS upgrades to complex, multidisciplinary scopes involving multiple subcontractors and trades. This role requires hands-on experience in live datacenters and expertise in mission-critical construction environments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • On-site Coordination: Full-time on-site management of internal and subcontractor teams on mission-critical renovation/upgrade projects involving BMS, EPMS, mechanical, electrical, and structural scopes.
  • Safety: Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols on all projects.
  • Planning and Support: Collaborate with project management teams for planning, scheduling, and project closeout.
  • Field Supervision: Provide technical direction and support to field crews during daily construction activities.
  • Schedule Updates: Report construction progress and schedule updates to the project management team.
  • Documentation: Coordinate client submittals, site logistics plans, RFIs, as-built documentation, and maintain logs as required.
  • Bid and Client Coordination: Attend site visits, bid walks, and support RFQs and bid submittals in collaboration with estimating and project teams.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster and promote positive relationships with customers.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years or more of experience in mission-critical and data center construction.
  • Proven experience working in live datacenters.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural trades as well as industrial construction methods.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Experience with BMS and EPMS system construction, integration, and commissioning tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without visa sponsorship (current or future).

ocation: San Francisco Bay Area

Base Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 annually (hourly equivalent: $38.46/hr. - $62.50/hr.)
