We’re seeking a Mission Critical Construction Manager to support high-visibility retrofit and upgrade projects across live data center environments. You’ll oversee internal crews and subcontractors, drive safety and quality, and ensure successful execution of electrical, mechanical, BMS, and EPMS scopes. This is a high-impact role supporting some of the world’s most advanced facilities.
Position Highlights:
• Pay Rate: $43.27/hr – $72.12/hr (DOE)
• Location: Dulles, VA (20166)
• Schedule: Full-time onsite, Monday–Friday starting at 6 AM
• Assignment: 6+ month contract with potential to convert
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and coordinate internal crews and subcontractors on live mission-critical construction projects.
• Oversee upgrade scopes including BMS, EPMS, mechanical, electrical, and structural work.
• Maintain strict safety standards in active data center environments.
• Interpret one-lines, electrical drawings, BMS/P&ID diagrams, and support LOTO procedures.
• Provide daily construction direction, schedule updates, and quality oversight.
• Support RFIs, as-built documentation, submittals, logistics planning, and site access coordination.
• Collaborate with project managers, trades, and client teams to deliver seamless execution.
What We’re Looking For:
• 3–5+ years of mission-critical or data center construction experience – OR –
• Recent bachelor’s graduates (Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, etc.) with relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Experience working in live data centers strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical documentation (one-lines, P&IDs, BMS/EPMS diagrams).
• Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel locally between data center sites.
• Must pass full background and drug screening (no exceptions).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
