Construction Inspector 
Statesboro, GA Area

We are seeking a Construction Inspector to join our growing team and support utility and civil site projects across Georgia and South Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including water and sewer utilities, storage and treatment facilities, civil site work, and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.

  • Oversee work related to water and sewer utilities, storage tanks, conveyance and treatment facilities, site development, and commercial construction.

  • Serve as the engineer’s representative on-site, communicating progress, quality, and potential issues to project managers.

  • Coordinate with contractors and project owners to keep projects on schedule.

  • Maintain daily inspection logs, complete forms, and provide regular reports.

  • Document construction activities with photos and update project drawings with as-built information.

  • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and product data for compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering inspection or construction supervision.

  • Erosion & Sediment (E&S) Level 1A Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

  • Strong knowledge of water and sewer utility systems, wastewater treatment plants, storage tanks, and related civil infrastructure.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel within Georgia and South Carolina.

Additional Details:

  • Company vehicle provided for travel to job sites.

  • Position is based in the Statesboro, GA area, with reporting to the Augusta office once a week.

  • This role involves both field work and limited office visits.
