Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity with our client’s growing Civil team for a Civil Technician.  The Civil Technician will assist in various civil engineering projects, provide technical support and expertise.

As a member of the Civil Team, the day-to-day responsibilities of Civil Technician will be:
  • Assist in preparation of detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, documentation, and presentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
  • Be responsible for work on multiple projects at one time
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from other disciplines on assigned projects
  • Attend meetings for civil team, and project teams
  • Attend bi-weekly training and team meetings
  • Attend construction site observations
Required:
  • Associates Degree in Drafting or Technical Certification
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency
  • Understanding of civil site design concepts
