Civil Structural Engineer, Industrial / Steel / Concrete

*** We have a great long-term contract opportunity in a beautiful Kentucky location! ***
Our large, stable engineering consulting client has an immediate need for a Civil-Structural Engineer with a background in industrial concrete and steel structures. Possible Direct Hire, Per Diem, and occasional Remote Work available for the right engineers!
The Civil-Structural Engineer Responsibilities Include:
* Overall, perform design, documentation, and analysis for industrial steel and concrete structures and foundations
* Perform structural, stress, and technical analysis for a variety of heavy industrial design-build-construction projects
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* B.S. Degree, Engineering, prefer Civil, Structural, or similar technical/scientific degree
* 5+ years of industrial, concrete, and steel structural project engineering or project leadership experience
* Prefer to have P.E. License or S.E. registration

Technical Recruiter
John is originally from the Tidewater Virginia area and moved to Georgia for college where he majored in Electronics Engineering Technology. For fifteen years, he worked in television news broadcast engineering where he worked his way into technical project management until a layoff. After a few years operating a small business franchise, he found his way into an engineering and technical recruiting career where he could apply his technical and customer service backgrounds in a new industry for the next fifteen plus years to present day. His education and work experience as a technical project manager provides him unique insight into a variety of roles and success in finding great candidates for his clients. His career in technology, technical management, and technical staffing spans 25+ years.
When John found himself looking for a new opportunity, his search led to him joining the Selectek team in June 2021.
John lives in North Metro Atlanta where he spends his time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy kayaking on area lakes, hiking, bicycling, and all things pets and animals.
