Civil/Structural Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Civil/Structural Designer to start working with a client of ours in Houston, TX as soon as possible. This candidate should have a background in designing chemical processing plants.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements
  • 10-15 years of industrial experience in small/medium chemical plants and terminals using AutoCAD
  • 5+ years using CADWorx (must have recent experience)
  • Knowledge of NavisWorks a plus
  • Must be able to check his/her own work and pickup marks ACCURATELY
  • Must have experience with equipment foundations and supports, pipe racks, access platforms, etc.
  • Experience with rail/truck scales or rail/truck loading/unloading a plus
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Pay Rate: $55/hr - $70/hr
Term: 6 months contract to hire
Location: Houston, TX 77042
