Job Description
Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Manager position in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of assigned projects, to assure the project conforms to the contractual agreement the firm has made with the client, that the project is completed within the allocated time period and within the assigned budget.
Duties & Description:
Pay and Wages: $75,000 - $100,000 annual salary depending on education and experience

Duties & Description:
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests and aerial photographs regarding soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project
- Provide and develop schematic design information
- Incorporate design concepts from schematic design development and work with project team to produce construction documents
- Coordinate work with other design professionals
- Coordinate staff activities to assure achievement of project budget, schedule and quality goals
- Produce drawings and sketches to be incorporated in drawings by drafters
- Direct technicians to convert designs to working drawings
- Perform and prepare calculations using engineering formulas and skills for the design of storm sewers, storm detention systems, construction site storm water best management practices, and sanitary sewer systems
- Utilize computer programs and spreadsheets for engineering analysis and presentations
- Select details, general notes and outline specifications to be used for the project
- Act as liaison with reviewing agencies
- Interact with client during the project and after completion
- Respond to questions and provide daily guidance to the project team
- Recognize problems quickly, seek advice from group leaders, develop solutions
- Provide value engineering
- Responsible for the accuracy and quality of plans
- Develop technical competence for junior team members
- Attend construction meetings and produce site observation reports
- Undertake and assist in business development
- Participate in selected organizations that are in the best interest of the company
- Participate in preparation of contractual agreements and understand the requirement of the contract with client
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency
- Experience with design of single family subdivisions, apartments, commercial developments
- Understanding of local, state and federal codes and regulations
- Ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to effectively design and manage projects
