Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Civil Project Engineer in Hagerstown, MD.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and direct larger and/or more complex engineering projects
  • Lead and direct technical projects with overall responsibility for technical accuracy and appropriateness
  • Manage/solve technically complex problems, at times using advanced techniques and practices
  • Proposal preparation and direct follow through
  • Contract administration
  • Responsible for scheduling, productivity, and budget of projects
  • Ensure consistent, professional written and verbal communication with clients, contractors and project team members
  • Work with and assist other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
  • Serve as technical specialist and staff advisor
  • Develop staff and project engineers
  • Recognize, initiate and advance business development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Strive to make each project profitable
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Ability to successfully manage a sewer or water utility project from start to finish
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Experience in Business Development and Client Management
Preferred:
  • Civil 3D experience
  • PE or EIT
Pay range: $60,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
