Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Civil Project Engineer for our partnering company near Council Bluffs, Iowa. This firm is looking for candidates with a BSCE and strong land development experience. 

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Council Bluffs, IA 
Expected Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000 annually, based on certifications and experience

Job Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 
•    EIT 
•    Minimum 2-4 years Civil Site, Roadway and/or Municipal Design experience 
•    Experience with one or more of the following: Microstation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D 
•    Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills 

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
•    Work with key Clients to define project requirements, develop design criteria, and communicate priorities to the Project Team. 
•    Produce construction documents with an established team of experienced and skilled technical professionals. 
•    Provide detailed reviews on multiple projects at varying stages of design. 
•    Coordinate design efforts with public and private stakeholders. 
•    Provide Construction Administration services such as reviewing submittals/shop drawings, reviewing change order requests, and answering questions from the field.
