Job Description
Our client is an engineering firm and has a new opportunity for a Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to take over projects and run them with minimal instructions. Though projects may vary at this time the team is looking to add someone with residential project experience. Candidates must have previous experience in the design of site development, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects, and must be able to plan, develop, and direct engineering projects varying in size and complexity. The successful candidate must be able to earn the confidence of our clients through elegant, practical, and timely engineering solutions.
.Responsibilities and skills.
- Proficient technical knowledge of engineering systems, materials, and procedures
- Effective communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
- Willingness to accept increasing levels of responsibility, and demonstration of continued and progressive technical and leadership experience
- Understanding and awareness of project budgets and profitability
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. and local design codes and standards.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 5 plus years of site development, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects, and must be able to plan, develop, and direct engineering projects varying in size and complexity.
- Residential project experience
- PE in Oklahoma or eligibility for licensure by comity
- Strong Leadership skills
Preferred:
- Master’s in civil engineering
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
Pay: DOE- $90k + DOE
