Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead a diverse range of land development projects in the Myrtle Beach area. This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong compensation, a collaborative team environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact from day one. Projects span residential, commercial, municipal, and aviation sectors throughout South Carolina and North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage small to large-scale land development projects

  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers (EITs), reviewing and approving their work

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and client relationships

  • Handle permitting, regulatory coordination, and submittals

  • Perform site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion control design

  • Provide project updates, manage deadlines, and assess risks and costs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure quality design deliverables

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

  • Active P.E. license in South Carolina or North Carolina

  • 8–10+ years of civil engineering experience in residential and commercial development

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling

  • Strong knowledge of stormwater, grading, utilities, and permitting processes

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with ICPR or StormWise modeling software

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $150K–$160K base
Benefits: 80% employer-paid medical insurance, 401(k) with 7% match
Work Schedule: Mon–Thurs 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, Fri 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
Remote/Hybrid: No – Onsite only
