Selectek is seeking a Civil Engineer for our partnering company in Jacksonville, Florida. Candidates in this role will focus on land development and renderings.Â
Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Expected Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.Â
Job Requirements:
-   Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
-Â Â Â Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software.
-Â Â Â Knowledge of local engineering codes and standards (preferred).
-Â Â Â EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or working toward it (preferred).

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties:
-Â Â Â Assist in civil engineering design and analysis for projects such as roads, drainage systems, and site development.
-Â Â Â Prepare drawings, reports, and calculations under the guidance of senior engineers.
-Â Â Â Conduct site visits and inspections to support project development.
-Â Â Â Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software to develop project designs.
-Â Â Â Assist in data collection, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
-Â Â Â Ensure designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
-Â Â Â Support project teams with administrative and coordination tasks.
-Â Â Â Experience with Pond Pack, StormCADD, and/or ICPR4 Hydrologic and Hydraulic software
