Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer in Atlanta, GA to work in Land Development (grading, hydrology, drainage, stormwater, etc.). The projects would focus on Commercial projects involving major retail, restaurant, and hospitality-based companies.

Pay Rate: $35/hr - $45/hr

Work From Home/Remote: Hybrid Schedule

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Design in Civil 3D
Job Duties:
  • Design in Civil 3D
  • Review geotechnical, environmental, and transportation reports to identify engineering problems and assess the possible impact to projects
  • Compute water and sewer flow rates, grading requirements, hydrologic run-off rates, and hydraulic capacities of pipes and swales
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
  • Inspect and monitor each project’s progress and ensure conformance to design specifications
  • Prepare or present project deliverables, such as drawing packages, specifications, drainage reports, utility studies plats, and bid proposals to client or agency with jurisdiction over the project
  • Plan and design projects following construction and governmental standards, using design software and AutoCAD Civil 3D
