Job Description
I have a client located in Indianapolis, IN that has an immediate need for a Civil Engineer with a highway transportation background.
Need someone with experience in DOT roadway and transportation related projects.
Requirements:
- BS Civil Engineer
- DOT or LPA Experience
- Civil 3D OR MicroStation
- Experience Roadway Layout and Design
- Research and prepare final engineering reports and feasibility studies
- Provide horizontal and vertical roadway alignment calculations
Preferred Experience:
- Worked with IDOT but okay with any DOT experience
- 5 plus years of experience
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Provide roadway layout and design
- Research and prepare final engineering reports and feasibility studies
- Prepare plans and specifications
- Provide cost and quantity take-off estimates
- Management of budget and schedule
- Provide horizontal and vertical roadway alignment calculations
- Utility research coordination
- Mentor Junior Engineer staff
Pay Range:
- $31-46/hr. (some flexibility depending on experience)
