Job Description


I have a client located in Indianapolis, IN that has an immediate need for a Civil Engineer with a highway transportation background.

Need someone with experience in DOT roadway and transportation related projects.

Requirements:
  • BS Civil Engineer
  • DOT or LPA Experience
  • Civil 3D OR MicroStation
  • Experience Roadway Layout and Design
  • Research and prepare final engineering reports and feasibility studies
  • Provide horizontal and vertical roadway alignment calculations

Preferred Experience:
  • Worked with IDOT but okay with any DOT experience
  • 5 plus years of experience

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
  • Provide roadway layout and design
  • Research and prepare final engineering reports and feasibility studies
  • Prepare plans and specifications
  • Provide cost and quantity take-off estimates
  • Management of budget and schedule
  • Provide horizontal and vertical roadway alignment calculations
  • Utility research coordination
  • Mentor Junior Engineer staff

Pay Range:
  • $31-46/hr. (some flexibility depending on experience)
