A multidisciplinary design firm is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead land development and infrastructure projects in the Cincinnati area. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from concept through construction while mentoring junior staff and working directly with clients and local agencies.
 

  • Location: Cincinnati, OH (45241)

  • Pay: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (salary, based on experience)

  • Term: Direct Hire

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Travel: Local project sites only

Role Overview:

  • Lead civil engineering design for land development projects including roads, utilities, storm drainage, and stormwater management systems

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure contractual compliance

  • Prepare and review construction documents, calculations, and technical specifications

  • Coordinate with architects, surveyors, landscape architects, and other design disciplines

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and reviewing agencies

  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians throughout project delivery

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Ohio PE license

  • 7+ years of land development and infrastructure design experience

  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead design teams
