Job Description


We’re looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join a growing engineering team in Hammonton, NJ! This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of site development projects — from municipal infrastructure and public works to commercial land development. If you’re proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and enjoy turning complex designs into precise, buildable plans, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Develop and maintain 3D surface models, alignments, and profiles

  • Support engineers with construction document production and plan revisions

  • Coordinate with survey, GIS, and environmental teams to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Assist with permit application packages and regulatory submissions

  • Maintain drawing standards and quality control throughout the design process

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of site design experience (commercial, municipal, or public infrastructure)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Strong attention to detail and collaborative communication skills

Details:

  • Location: Hammonton, NJ

  • Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00/hour

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

  • Type: 6-month contract-to-direct hire

  • Work Setup: Onsite (no remote)
