Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer with a solid educational background and 2-5 years of professional experience in civil engineering. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to personal development, project team collaboration, and community impact.
Qualifications:
- Education: Four-year bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field from an accredited program.
- Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a strong drive for personal and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and contribute positively to the community
- Candidates must be willing to provide work samples and/or take a CAD assessment
Preferred Skills:
- Engineer-in-Training (EI) on the path to Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Experience in storm drain, sanitary sewer, water distribution networks, and site grading preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and production of civil engineering construction documents and conceptual site plans
- Complete civil utility and site design, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, HGL modeling, fire flow design, and stormwater management
- Generate site grading plans, earthworks calculations, and sediment/erosion control design/permitting
- Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, project teams, contractors, and owners
- Work collaboratively within the project team in accordance with company standards from the concept phase through construction administration for various projects
Pay Range:
Shift and Hours:
- Monday - Friday
- 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
