Job Description

Civil Design Engineer being sought after for “big box” commercial projects concerning land development for A&E firm.  We require a true designer who can work independently.

Rate: $30hr – $50hr

Location: Greensboro, NC

Job Description:
  • Design of commercial land development projects.
  • Perform all aspects of site design including site layout, number crunching, calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control projects.
  • Work with clients and team members on all aspects of a project – schematic design through construction administration.
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 
  • Passed FE exam.
  • Civil 3D Experience
  • 3+ Years Experience in all aspects of site design including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion and sedimentation control.
  • Familiarity with current codes, design guidelines, and stormwater management practices.
Preferred:
  • PE or EIT.
  • Experience with commercial projects.
