Job Description

We’re seeking a Chemical Engineer for a cutting-edge semiconductor facilities project based in Boise, ID. In this dynamic Owner’s Representative role, you’ll review and comment on technical designs, drawings, and specifications—ensuring world-class standards for chemical systems in an advanced manufacturing environment.

Position Highlights:
  • Pay Rate: $48.56–$59.13/hr
  • Location: Boise, ID (50% onsite first month, then 1 week/month onsite)
  • Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
  • Assignment: 6-month contract-to-hire
  • Remote Work: Hybrid
  • Sponsorship: Not available
What You’ll Do:
  • Lead reviews of P&IDs, chemical distribution, gas systems, and process piping designs
  • Serve as the chemical facilities point of contact for high-tech manufacturing projects
  • Interface with clients, engineers, and construction teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and client specifications
Qualifications:
  • BS in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 7+ years in chemical facilities engineering (UPW, chem/gas dist., exhaust, etc.)
  • 5+ years in design project delivery
  • Field experience and familiarity with complex semiconductor tools
  • AutoCAD proficiency; EIT or PE preferred
