Job Description
We are actively seeking a CNC Manager to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in operating a variety of CNC production equipment, possess strong leadership skills, and have experience with core modeling and CAM applications. This role requires effective project management, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to communicate technical information to individuals with varying software skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee a variety of CNC production equipment, including Routers, Plasma, Cold Formed Roll Formers, Saw, and Drill line.
- Utilize core modeling and CAM applications such as Revit, Inventor, Fusion 360, CAMduct, and Rhino for efficient CNC programming.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Analyze and solve problems at the root cause level, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communicate technical information effectively to individuals with varying software skills knowledge.
- Provide leadership to the team, motivating and guiding them toward project success.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards in manufacturing.
- Demonstrate expertise in budget management and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Comfortable working with a variety of CNC production equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards in manufacturing.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
Preferences:
- Experience processing digital files for optimal CNC production-driven fabrication.
- Comfortable with working with and programming G-code, NC, and similar machine code instruction files with up to 3 axes.
Shift and Hours:
- Monday to Friday.
- 8 am - 5 pm.
Salary Range:
- $75,000/yr. - $85,000/yr.
