Job Description

Our client is seeking a CMT Technician with ACI Certification to perform construction observations, material testing, and inspections for soils, concrete, grout, mortar, and asphalt.

About the Role:
  • Conduct material testing and general construction inspections for soil, concrete, grout, mortar, and asphalt according to project requirements.
  • Clean, maintain, and calibrate testing equipment in compliance with codes and standards.
  • Perform tests using a nuclear density gauge.
  • Submit daily reports detailing construction observations and test results.
  • Review civil and structural plans to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain clear and effective written and verbal communication with project teams.
Who You Are:
  • 2+ years of experience in construction testing and inspections.
  • ACI Field Level 1 Certification (required for concrete testing).
  • Experience with nuclear density gauges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers.

  • This is a temp to perm opportunity
  • Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour based on previous experience.
