Job Description
I have a client located near Fort Wayne, IN that has an immediate need for an CAD Designer. Working remotely is an option for this position for the right skill set.
You will be designing wood wall panels and ceiling/floor trusses for commercial and residential projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a 2-year technical degree or applicable experience.
- 2 years of design/drafting experience
- Previous experience working in wood framed construction environment
- Experience using AutoCAD or other similar CAD systems. Experience using Alpine, InteliBuild or Wall Builder would be a big plus.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
Responsibilities:
- Design projects from concept to shop drawings.
- Create layouts and designs from architectural and structural drawings
- Design wood wall panels, ceiling trusses and floor trusses
- Must be able to convert architectural drawings to fabrication drawings.
Pay:
$20-28/hr. (flexibility depending on experience)
